The CB Sustainability Expertise Team is looking for an Impact Nation Project Officer.  In this role, you will learn about the latest sustainable innovations and help the Impact Nation lead to leverage on the extensive network of ABN AMRO to accelerate their adoption.

Your job

Impact Nation is an Accelerator program to make companies more sustainable. It was established by ABN AMRO in 2018, in collaboration with Impact Hub Amsterdam and The Next Web. Until today, 26 commercial banking clients have participated from a wide range of sectors. In this role you contribute to scaling and further development of the program by supporting the Impact Nation lead in many activities, such as:

• Communication towards clients that are in the program
• Enforcing the Impact Nation community of alumni, participants and prospects. E.g. by hosting webinars
• Invoicing & contracting
• Event organisation in collaboration with bankers
• Website management
• Client newsletters
• Participate in client dialogues with bankers
• Sparring partner of Impact Nation lead
• Prepare strategic meetings such as partner evaluation, key client meetings

Working environment

You will be part of the CB Sustainability Expertise department and will be part of the products team. You report to the head of the products team and work very closely with the lead of Impact Nation. Your job has a strong external focus. A large part of your time is spend collaborating with the partners of Impact Nation: The Next Web and Impact Hub Amsterdam. Also, you visit and organise events with clients and other 3th parties.

Your profile

• Passion – for making business a force for good / hands-on mentality
• Education – Bachelor in University or University of Applied Sciences
• Experience - Minimum of 3 year experience in project management 
• Knowledge -  Understanding of the overall field of sustainability and challenges of clients. As well as an understanding of the innovation process.
• Other (soft) skills - Structured, Organized, Strong communicator, Independent, Social
• Must have requirement: Fluent in Dutch.

• The gross monthly salary displayed above (Eur. 4.23 - 6.890 pm) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
