Wat je gaat doen

As Data Analyst ESG, you will be working as part of the ESG Central Data Platform (CDP) team within NN Group Finance. We are working to build a central data service to collect ESG data on our investments, calculate different metrics and distribute the outcomes to different stakeholders that use our data in various reports on sustainability, such as SFDR, EUT and CSRD. In your role you will be part of the growing team that is focused on the functional execution of the data management processes in our data applications.

Responsibilities

Executing data management processes of the different calculation runs, performing data quality checks on completeness and correctness in our data applications
You actively participate in the run alignment meetings to discuss planning, progress and find solutions for any issues encountered in the process
You build up process expertise and ensure processes are well documented, with clear work instructions and control descriptions
You help identify, plan and implement process improvements with the support of the technical scrum team
As part of the team that is the owner of the process, you perform the user acceptance testing for changes of the different applications

Based on above, we are looking for a candidate that has;

1-3 years experience in running data management processes on data applications within a finance, risk or asset management environment (experience in ESG related data management is a big plus)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics
Excellent communication in English
A solid understanding based on hands on experience of the key master data domains of investment data, financial instruments and issuers
Experience in working with market data vendors is a pre

The ESG CDP is a young and diverse team of professionals that is structured in three parts; technical delivery, project & functional analysis and data processing. Given all the new scope and requirements that are coming our way, we are in the process of expanding the team in all area’s, and this is part of the build up for the data processing team, which is currently aimed to become a 4 member team.
