The broader Credit Portfolio Management team (“CPM”) is responsible for steering ABN AMRO’s portfolio along three lenses, being Financial, Strategic and Risk. This role specifically focusses on front-end steering of ABN AMRO’s portfolio through the Capital Allocation process.

Your job
We are looking for an enthusiastic portfolio manager in CPM’s Capital Allocation & Pricing cluster with a clear focus on pricing. In this role you will be responsible for managing the Pricing framework for the Corporate Banking, Wealth Management and Business Banking financing solutions portfolios. The team determines how pricing should work and has a dedicated IT development team to implement this in the Corporate Credits Pricing Service.
You need to ensure that the pricing process runs smoothly and you are a linking pin between bankers, lenders, Grids, ALM, Product Management, Central Risk Management, Legal, Compliance and Business Intelligence teams and see and experience banking from a broad perspective. We are looking for an energetic and proactive colleague who likes to be an important part of our journey. Briefly summarized you'll focus on:
- Designing the pricing framework & methodology
- Ensure implementation in the Corporate Credits Pricing Service by a dedicated IT team
- Implement and communicate to bankers and lenders, and support them with their questions
Controlling, ALM, Central Risk Management, Modelling, Business Intelligence or Analytics experience and knowledge of the Financing Solution products are highly valued in the team.

Working environment
CPM consists of more than 80 experts, 5 Expert Leads and the Head of CPM, reflecting a diverse range of professional and personal backgrounds. The team is at the centre of CB’s capital efficient strategy, being responsible for capital allocation & pricing, data & model management, performance management & analytics, active portfolio steering and program lending oversight.
You will work in CPM as part of the Capital Allocation & Pricing cluster with around 15 experts, who enjoy their job, create a fun working environment together and try to get better every day.
You will get hands-on experience with various cross departmental projects, working closely with other departments in the bank such as Client Coverage, Financing Solutions, Risk, Grids, Business Intelligence and Analytics teams. You will develop strong data analysis capabilities, while working in a commercial organisation, and while building an understanding of corporate and investment banking. This creates an excellent foundation for a career in the future of banking at ABN AMRO.
Your profile

You have a background in either Controlling, ALM, Central Risk Management, Modelling, Business Intelligence or Analytics and you know how to use numbers to tell a story. You have a drive to improve and innovate, and you can be creative in finding mechanisms that effectively control risks while remaining commercially acceptable. You’re energised by transferring your expertise to others and at the same time interested in what you can learn from colleagues with other forms of expertise. You are keen to actively contribute to further developing and improving the area you work in.
