Wat je gaat doen

This unique role is a blend of many types of work. Together with a small team of BCM professionals, you translate ideas into strategies and implementation, collaborate with business units, implement governance structures, and organize learning programs and events. For NN, as a financial services provider, security of customer and company data has high priority, so your role has strong influence!

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Assisting DevOps teams with the setup, maintenance and application of NN Group IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans: advising them on how to identify and under-stand critical processes, and how to incorporate technical dependencies and/or underlying infrastructure components in their plans
  • Preparing and organizing BCM tests (e.g. tabletops or simulations), evaluating test outcomes and suggesting improvements
  • Extracting data from BCM tooling, ServiceNow, to build and maintain dashboards (Power BI, Excel) to deliver management information
  • Engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including BCM specialists, DevOps teams, Incident Response teams, Architects, and Management teams, to ensure aligned and cohesive efforts
  • Contribute to the development and implementation BCM at a NN Group level to continuously enhance NN Group's response capability and effectiveness over time

What you will bring

To be successful in the challenging role being offered, the following qualifications and experiences are expected:

  • You hold a degree in Computer Science, Crisis Management, or Business Administration (or a comparable field)
  • You have at least 3-4 years of proven experience with IT Incident and Business Continuity Management, or Risk Management, ideally in large, agile companies. You possess sufficient application- and infrastructure-level knowledge to have a solid technical understanding of IT-Disaster Recovery solutions.
  • You have had some training in BCM, IT, and Crisis Management, such as ISO22301 and NIST; certifications like CBCI or CBCP are a plus. Experience with ServiceNow and BCM Tooling is a plus
  • You possess the ability to work within a strategic vision, helping to implement short and long-term plans to develop IT business continuity management capabilities. You have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for delivering high-quality results
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, and preferably also in Dutch

In addition to this, you must possess the ability to work across different levels of the organization, from senior executives to engineers. However, the most important quality you should possess is a strong passion for IT and crisis management, which can inspire your colleagues to share your enthusiasm.
